Description
This is a great sounding and playing 52 telecaster from arguably the best reissue period. This 1999 American Vintage ’52 Tele Reissue retains every detail of the vintage original. Featuring its solid ash body, a maple neck, and original Tele circuit with three-position switch, brass bridge saddles, single-ply black pickguard. The American Vintage ’52 comes with American Vintage Tele single-coil pickups and vintage style tuning key
This one has been played some and has wear in all the ways, some light finish cracks, buckle rash, play wear on body and pickguard, some dings but no real paint chips or anything like that. All pictured but really hard to capture… Its there though and so is that quintessential tele vibe. bright and punchy but not brittle or harsh, great bass response, quacky when it needs to be, it has a great dark vintage lacquer on the neck with a little flame to the maple, nice ash wood grain on the body. It’s def a good one. Comes with a Fender flight case that also shows some wear but latches work perfectly and its built like a tank.
